I've been riding with Seat Concepts seats on my WR250X for the last few summers. I run the low foam version, so not only does it help me with the bikes tall seat height, but the seat is also much more comfortable than the stock seat thanks to a wider seating surface and slightly softer foam. I've done several 250+ mile days with no issues... couldn't say the same thing for the stock WR250X seat!

NOTE: Seat Concepts still offers their "seat kits" if you want to save some money and use your stock seat pan to install their foam and seat cover (see "Seat Kit" link below).

Just got back from my first ride with the new Two Brothers Racing V.A.L.E.™ M-7 Carbon Slip-on and couldn't be happier with it. Fit and finish is top notch, and Two Brothers makes arguably the best looking exhaust systems on the market... the Carbon Canister version we installed looks awesome on our all black 2009 model WR250X. Sound is really really really good... a deeper exhaust note than a lot of the others we've tried (FMF Q4, Delta Barrel 4). This slip-on is designed to work with the stock WR250R/X header, but we got it to fit our Delta header without any issues. It would not, however, fit the FMF PowerBomb header we tried.

I will post a YouTube sound clip in a few days.

Notes: We also have an FMF EFI Programmer installed, as well as a 12oClockLabs EXUP emulator.

For the last two summers I had been running a Delta Barrel 4 exhaust on the WR250X project bike. It was time to re-pack it so I decided to install an FMF Q4 exhaust system and do some riding with it over the summer. When I originally put the Delta exhaust on, I installed an FMF EFI Programmer for the fuel injection system, as well as an EXUP Eliminator, so those mods were already taken care of. All I had to do this time around was un-bolt the Delta exhaust and bolt up the FMF PowerBomb header and FMF Q4 Slip-On Muffler. Installation was pretty simple and all hardware is included.

The FMF Q4 is probably the most popular exhaust for the 2008+ Yamaha WR250R / WR250X and for good reason... not only does it make the bike sound much better, but it's not overly loud like some exhaust systems. It's still louder than the stock exhaust, but FMF has designed their Q4 Slip-On Muffler to use intricate chambers and baffles that improves air flow while still dampening sound. It really does work and it sounds much better than the stock system, without being deafening.

The Q4 muffler also includes a removable USFS spark arrestor, which is a must if you do off-road riding, and the Q4's aircraft grade aluminum and stainless steel construction will also save a few pounds over the stock exhaust.
